​Curtis Henderson, Sr. Master Sergeant, USAF.  1947-2017

Curtis James Henderson of Pensacola attended Booker T. Washington Senior High School, graduating in 1965.  Soon after graduating, he and some of his friends decided to enlist in the United States Air Force.  After enlisting, he served for 24 years with distinction. 
In 2003, he and his wife joined Cokesbury United Methodist Church where he remained a member until his death.  Mr. Henderson retired from the Air Force in January of 1989, and not long after, he and Al Bruner began working part-time for the Alabama - West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Mr. Henderson also served as full-time Associate Director of the Conference Council on Ministries of the Alabama-West Florida Conference.
Curtis Henderson loved to play golf.
